While the staff at NEFATC is excited to continue OIT we recognize that we will re-open in a new world of social distancing, pre-visit screening, enhanced precautions, and additional layers of personal protective equipment (PPEs).  We would like to update families about some changes that we are making to ensure your child’s safety.

a.     Must be infection-free with no cough, fever, or no known Covid-19 contacts.

b.     Must be masked and will not be allowed to enter if they are not masked; families need to provide their own masks.

c.     Patients need to attend an appointment with one parent, no extra visitors and suggest that siblings not come with you. (We know that some of you drive long distances and may need two drivers. We ask that one person waits in the car during the appointment.)

d.     We must stick to a strict schedule- no early or late arrivals.

e.     One family in the waiting room at a time. Upon arrival at the parking lot, please call the office so we can let you know if it is okay to come in.

f.      We will be measuring temperatures at the front desk of everyone coming into the office. Anyone exhibiting cough or fever will be sent home.

g.     Families will be asked to Purell hands when entering office.

h.     Patients must bring their own snacks, drinks, toys, and a parent will dose the child after a staff member mixes dosing.

i.      Patients and family members must stay in their room.

We encourage you to call the office for any specific questions.
